Early years

Little Dancer (3 – 4 years old)

Pre Ballet (4 – 5 years old)

Beginning ballet (5 – 6 years old)

A strong foundation in body awareness, coordination and musicality are essential for the formal study of ballet or any other dance form. Younger students also benefit from developing skills related to following directions, taking turns and creative expression. Fairytales and storytelling are incorporated into the classes for our youngest students, giving them tangible opportunities for bringing a story to life through movement (and costumes!). The lessons are easy to learn and understand, yet will challenge young developing minds by engaging one of their strongest assets - their imaginations!

    Ballet
Youth level

Ballet I (6 – 8 years old)

Ballet II (7 – 10 years old)

Ballet III (8 – 12 years old)

Intermediate level I

Ballet I, II, II and Intermediate mark the transition into more classically based training. By these levels, students have matured into a more structured class with greater physical challenges and and emphasis on the discipline of ballet. Students will continue to build upon their knowledge of basic ballet technique with an emphasis on refining their quality of movement and precise execution of smallest of details. For these levels, we recommend 2 to 3 classes per week as well as participating in on-stage productions - an integral part of a dancer’s life.

Advanced Levels

Advanced Ballet I (12 – 15 years old)

Advanced Ballet II 14 – 16 years old)

Advanced III (15 – 18 years old)

Students at the Advanced level will learn more intricate technique with a focus on proper alignment, strength, flexibility, speed and precision. They will also hone their acting skills and musical acumen for stage. Female students will work on developing and strengthening muscles necessary to support the body in pointe shoes. Pointe work will include partnering and mastering the art of pas de deux. Students will learn original variations from renowned classical ballets as well as our original company ballets. We believe that performance is an essential element in a serious student’s artistic and technical development. We recommend that students take 4 to 6 classes per week.
